Ignite hope. Take action. Create change.

Welcome! This site chronicles the journey and learning of students, staff and faculty participating in the Peru Initiative. During this 18-day Centennial College Global Citizenship and Equity Learning Experience, we will work in partnership with Learning For Hope, a non-governmental, non-denominational, grassroots organization, that promotes sustainable, community development projects. Working alongside villagers, we will construct a community greenhouse to provide an immediate and sustainable source of fresh, nutritious food for families in need. Departing from Toronto, Ontario on June 9, 2011, we will update the site regularly with reflections on our learning and photographs of our experiences. We look forward to your messages and comments.
